About Me

I established Sincere HR Consulting in 2024 with one goal in mind – to help others succeed through their #1 resource: their people. In my 11+ years I have worked in businesses of all sizes (<50-13,000+). In my experience, the businesses who thrive have highly engaged workforces who remain loyal and productive even when things become difficult (COVID, anyone?).

If you’re reading this, I applaud you! You have already made the decision to invest in the powerhouse of your business (your people!), and you’ve recognized that specialty resources such as HR consulting can be invaluable in taking you to the next level.

I take pride in my work. My commitments to you are:

  • To treat your business, your goals, and your people as if they are my own.
  • To not waste your time. I will evaluate your needs and determine if my skill set is best suited to fulfill them.
  • To provide high quality service that you can replicate once I’m gone.

Mission

Helping businesses succeed through a ‘people-first’ approach. Tailoring people strategies to the needs of your business at any stage of growth.

Vision

To exemplify the ‘human’ in human resources as a top-rated, highly sought after consulting firm.

Values

  • Honesty – Acts with integrity, communicates truthfully, takes accountability for the work product.
  • Authenticity – We are who we say we are. Diversity is valued; we do not wear masks.
  • Curiosity – Seeks to understand. Asks questions, listens closely, and devours knowledge.
  • Achievement – Gets things done, celebrating the wins while seeking new opportunities.

Qualifications

Abby Kavanaugh, SHRM-SCP, MBA

I have been in HR for more than 11 years, serving in business partner and leadership roles. The majority of my experience has been in healthcare and financial services, but the teams I have supported include a variety of departments such as: administrative, customer service, IT, legal, research and development, sales, and tax.

I’ve worked in both nonprofit and for-profit businesses, from the small business (less than 50) to the large (13,000+). Having previously served as an “HR department of one,” I understand the challenges of scaling people practices with limited resources.

My superpowers are my ability to see the big picture, create the plan or process, and teach others. Leveraging more than 5 years of people management experience, I love to help other people leaders find their stride in building a highly engaged workforce capable of outpacing their competitors in productivity and revenue.

Let’s do amazing things together!
